When I'm Not, God Is

When I feel sad - God is joy

When I feel overwhelmed - God is calm

When I feel weak - God is strength

When I feel alone - God is there

When I feel rejected - God is love

When I feel restless - God is peace

When I feel hopeless - God provides

When I stumble - God is help

When I feel defeated - God is fighting on

When I am scared - God is courage

When I feel weary - God is rest

When I am hurt - God is healing

When I feel broken - God is comfort

When I feel I am not enough - God is more than enough

Been There, Done That

Friends, Jesus isn't just sitting up in Heaven on His throne looking down at us (literally or figuratively).

He knows.  He gets it.  He's been there.  Or here, as the case may be...

He was one of us.  He has worn the restraints of being human.  He fully understands and sympathizes with every weakness we battle.  Every temptation we face.  Every time we fall.

He understands.

And He WANTS TO HELP.  He wants to pour mercy and grace over us because He loves us.  All we have to do is open our hearts and ask for His strength.  His wisdom.  His love.  His mercy.
