The Day 2 assignment for the 31 Day Blog Challenge was "Favorite Quotes". I had every intention of skipping this one. You see, I love quotes. So many quotes. Asking me to pick a favorite quote is like asking me to pick a favorite book - just about impossible. However, as I thought about it, I decided I didn't have to choose favorites. I only had to select a few to share on this particular occasion. So, here ya go. A day late, but completed all the same ... enjoy!!

Randomize Me
Day one 8 the blog challenge is: Self portrait and 5 random facts about yourself.
1) I hate taking selfies. Seriously. I'm not a big fan of having my picture done, period. In fact, I almost skipped that portion of today's "assignment"
2) Despite the fact that I refer to myself as the Queen B, I named my business Queen B's Busy Work, and collect bee related items - I am actually somewhat afraid of the real thing and was allergic to them as a child.
3) I am afraid of heights. As in knee shakingly, dizzy type fear when I get above ground level. But I love to fly and always try to get a window seat.
4) I have never had a "brain freeze". Despite several efforts over the years to intentionally induce one. I suspect my family resents this.
5) I crack myself myself up on a regular basis. I will often start to tell a joke or story and be unable to finish because I am laughing so much.

March-ing Along
Welcome to March, everyone! I know those of you who dislike the winter are celebrating today and anticipating Spring. However, as much as I am looking forward to the blooming of daffodils and forsythia, and the milder days ahead; I do so cautiously. The biggest blizzard in memory was 23 years ago this month. I know not to trust Spring in these mountains and to hang onto the winter wardrobe until May rolls in.
This morning I was scrolling through pages of Google images, just looking for a March picture... when I came across THIS:
Sadly, it appears the original source of this particular challenge closed up shop sometime between 2013 when it was written and now. But, Tiffany - where ever you are now - THANKS for the inspiration!
And as for the rest of you - keep watching for my responses to the prompts. Or even better - follow along on your own blog!!

Now, I have been trying to schedule some time into my week to sit down and brainstorm ideas for blog posts. If you write, you know what a chore that can be! And while I have come up with a few (very few) fresh ideas, I was lacking.
As I read through the above list of prompts, many of them lit a little creative spark with me. A few made me cringe or groan a little, but I can just skip those.
