I am starving this morning. Starving, I tell ya! Ok, obviously not literally (first world problems much?) But I did wake up feeling oh-so-very hungry today. I could eat all the things.
What I really want is a chicken biscuit from Chickfila, complete with potato rounds and a big lemonade. Or a giant bowl of sugary cereal.
It's all about choices. Sugar cereal and fast food are not part of my healthier eating program. So, I'll skip them.
What I am going to eat is an egg sandwich with a side of light Greek yogurt and berries. Which I know will satisfy my hunger just as well as the other. Or better.
It's worth it. I am making some 5 point flat bread pizza for dinner. And I am looking forward to that. Because... pizza.

Wisdom from Oma
Sometimes you think you are really, really, really hungry -
but nothing you can find to eat sounds any good.

A Little Off
It's just one of those mornings when things seem, well... a little... off.
The dog is pacing and whining to go out. Despite the face that he has already been out - for a good long time!
The dog also won't eat his food.
The cats will eat the dog food, and are trying their very best to do just that!
I'm feeling a little ADD this morning. My mind is bouncing in a dozen different directions. I feel like there's something I should be doing, but I have no clue what it is.
Because of the bouncing brain syndrome - I can't seem to get anything accomplished. That's what happens when you can't seem to focus on one thing for longer than 2 minutes!
I am very hungry, but nothing - absolutely nothing - I can think of to eat sounds good. (maybe the cats are on to something?)
Wait... what was I talking about?
