The start of fall cleaning

Cleaned out and organized cabinets

August goals accomplished

Waffles

Feeling pretty

The male offspring cleaning up after dinner without being told

Pink sky morning

Silence

Pack and shop day

The guys getting haircuts

A shoulder rub

Three day weekend

I AM THANKFUL FOR:

New kitchen curtains

Books that make me laugh

The grand baby telling me "good morning"

Visits from my Dad

Lord, our Lord,
    how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory

   in the heavens. 

Through the praise of children and infants
    you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
    to silence the foe and the avenger.

When I consider your heavens,
    the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
    which you have set in place, 

what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
    human beings that you care for them?

You have made them a little lower than the angels
    and crowned them with glory and honor.

You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
    you put everything under their feet: 

 all flocks and herds,
    and the animals of the wild, 

 the birds in the sky,
    and the fish in the sea,
    all that swim the paths of the seas.

TODAY I AM THANKFUL FOR:

Beautiful fresh eggs from the girls

Beginning to plan a summer vacation

Going out for pizza with the whole family

The man of the house rubbing my shoulders and neck when I have a headache

The forecast for a warm, sunny weekend

Purging some of our clutter

Clear blue sky without a cloud in sight

TODAY I AM THANKFUL FOR:

A clean kitchen

Having the laundry caught up!

The family is finally recovering from the virus we all took turns coping with over the past week

Easter decorations

Coloring with the grand baby

Crayola color wonder markers
Signs of  Spring everywhere - from all the robins in the yard to my blooming daffodils
Spring nails the female offspring painted for me

Jellybeans

The grand baby laughing as his grandpa shuffles cards

Playing cards on family game night

A cup of coffee on a cold afternoon

Listening to male offspring lauging with his friend

Gathering eggs in the morning
