2) Quinoa: If I didn't think the family would stage a complete coup and toss me out of the kitchen for good- we would eat this atleast 3 to 5 days a week. I'll eat it made into some sort of salad, plain as a side instead of rice or potatoes, or as part of a prepared dish such as quinoa and black bean enchiladas. Love that I can make it up easily in the rice cooker.
3) 1) Game of Thrones: I never imagined I would get into this sort of tv show/book. But here I am. Well into the third book of the series. I can't believe this season is already over. It's soooo long until next spring!

I bought quinoa and hated it....please tell me how to cook and season it!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I have to admit . . . I've never worn (or tried on) a maxi skirt or dress . . . . awkward silence that I'm sure would follow as you would stare at me like I'm completely nuts . . . I really like how they look on other people but don't feel like I could pull them off, but I'm very tempted to try. Maybe after I'm off of my spending freeze (and by then maxi skirts/dresses will be way old news and there will be some other craze for me to gather my courage to try).
ReplyDeleteI love those long skirts too! So comfy. Fun post, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHello, I may just have to check out that style of a skirt! As I love to wear skirts! It was nice to visit your blog come visit me soon!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Roxy
I love, love, love maxi skirts + dresses. You're so right... they feel like sweatpants or comfy clothes. Love them! {stopped by from the Jack of All Trades link-up}
ReplyDeleteI sooooo wish I could pull off the maxi skirt. I just haven't found one that looks good on me--they are too clingy for my curvy figure. I'm sure the right one is out there, though!
ReplyDeleteMaxi skirts are comfort heaven - especially when I can find one that is short enough. And I made quinoa-black bean-avocado wraps last night because the husband was away and I knew he wouldn't approve of such a meatless meal! Hope you're having a great week.
ReplyDeleteBought my first maxi skirt recently, and I couldn't agree more - I would be willing to give up pants forever for these babies!
