"It Is Finished"

In a world constantly demanding our time, our attention, our busyness - it is a comfort to hear the words of Jesus upon the cross.  "It is finished"  There is nothing we have to do to earn love.  To earn salvation.  To earn grace and mercy.  It is done.

    So true.... we sometimes get caught in the trap of thinking we need to earn God's love... or His forgiveness, but how wonderful that it is all done. :)

      Or that we have to do things in order to please Him! It's nice to know that all the hard work has already been done.
