This year my One Word is:
For me, this means...
To simplify my possessions, my to do list, my activities, what I eat.
To simplify life in general. Making make room for what truly matters.
To make quiet spaces for focusing on my relationship with God and the people he has placed in my life.
To do less, so I can so it better.
To have less, so I can appreciate what I have more.
To get rid of old routines and habits that no longer work or make sense.
What are your goals or resolutions for 2017?

Thank you Robin. I enjoyed reading about your word today. You had some great tips about living with intention.
DeleteGreat word. I like how you are planning on using it in your life. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Melanie! I have very much enjoyed having a single word to focus on over each of the past few years. It has given me much better results than the old list of resolutions I used to do
DeleteI love this idea! I need to simplify my life...my One Word for 2017 is REST...which will have some kinds of simplicity adapted as I learn to rest in the Lord. I will be watching to see how the Lord works this in your life this year. Thank you for sharing with us.
ReplyDeletePamela, I knew this word had to be from God, because I am definitely one to overcomplicate and overthink things! LOL The only way I will be able to simplify my life is through His grace and strength.
DeleteVisiting from Deb's blog this morning. Oh I love your word. For two years I have asked the Lord to PLEASE let the word simplify be my word but He has chosen different words. I think He is simply telling me I just need to simplify anyway! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
