A Spirit of Gratitude: March 13

THIS WEEK I AM THANKFUL FOR:

Grand baby kisses
The relaxing rhythm of the crochet hook
1 Chronicles 16:8-36
Listening to the mourning doves outside
Snow falling in the early morning
The male offspring scraping the car windows - without being asked
Texts from my father
Breakfast for dinner
Cheesey old-school Batman
Vivid dreams
Psalm 116:7
Walk at the park
The sound of the creek
Pattern of the tree shadows on the pathway
Mom's birthday dinner
Playing Jenga with the family
Springlike breeze through the window
The smell of chicken cooking on the grill
Sitting out on the back porch
Warm sunshine on my face
Starting the 30 Day Plank Challenge with the Man of the House
Starting a crochet project - for myself
Apologizing
Feeling God at work in me
Fighting off post-time-change sleepys to get in the morning exercise
The bird calling to me from top of the Target sign
The grand baby stomping around the house, arms crossed, saying: "I MAD!"

  2. I had to laugh when I read cheesy ole Batman. *LOL* We must be from the same time period. I use to love that show. Great list of thankfuls. There is so much we can all be thankful. I would much rather focus on that then the negative of this world. Great post.

    1. Hahaha! We watched the Batman Movie the other night. The "old school" Batman (Adam West) The best are the parts where the shark is hanging from his leg and when "some days you just can't get rid of a bomb". Still makes me chuckle thinking about it. Have a lovely weekend Tammy!
